      How do I install Source Attribution and Events Tracking in GTM?

       
      With Hyly.AI's Attribution Manager template, the marketing manager can install it without changing a single line of code on the property website. Instead, the tag will be added to the GTM container.
      In addition to the Attribution Manager template, the Event Tracking template helps generate valuable reports for hyForms, hyTours, and Tour Site on Google Analytics.

      1. Source Attribution Installation

      1.1 Template

      GTM makes it easy to deploy and share a tag. Hy.ly has created the template below to simplify the tag installation process. Please click here to download the template.
       

      1.2 Install Hy.ly Attribution Manager Tag from Template

      Step 1a - Navigate to the Admin page of GTM

      Go to   http://tagmanager.google.com/,   click on Admin, then click Import Container.

      Step 1b - Upload Attribution Manager template

      1. Upload the Hy.ly Attribution Manager template from '1.1. Template'
      2. Choose the Default Workspace
      3. Select 'Merge'
      4. Select 'Rename conflicting tags, triggers, and variables
      5. Click 'Confirm'

      Step 1c - Submit and Publish

      Click 'Submit' and then 'Publish' to publish the new Hyly Attribution Manager tag:

      Congratulations! You have successfully installed the Hyly Attribution Manager tag to your GTM container; the tag will immediately take effect on your property website.
       

      2. Event Tracking Installation

      2.1 Template

      GTM makes it easy to deploy and share a tag. Hy.ly has created the template below to simplify the tag installation process. Please click here to download the template.
       

      2.2 Install Hy.ly Event Manager Tag from Template

      Step 2a - Navigate to the Admin page of GTM

      Go to   http://tagmanager.google.com/,   click on Admin, then click Import Container.

      Step 2b - Upload Event Manager Template 

      1. Upload the Hy.ly Event Manager template from '2.1. Template'
      2. Choose the Default Workspace
      3. Select 'Merge'
      4. Select 'Rename conflicting tags, triggers, and variables
      5. Click 'Confirm'

      Step 2c - Navigate to the Variables Tab

      1. Click on the 'Variables' tab on the left panel
      2. Click 'Hy.ly Event - Your UA Code here.'
      3. Update the Tracking ID

      Step 2d - Submit and Publish

      Click 'Submit' and 'Publish' to publish the new Hy.ly Event Manager tag.
