Prerequisite
When Hy.ly GTM Tags are installed on the Property Website, GTM Containers, GTM tracking works when the tour scheduler is on a client's website in an iFrame or a popup. But GTM tracking doesn't work when the scheduler is on a stand-alone page or using a link-out method. In order to track on the stand-along page, you will need to add tracking pixels in the Journey AI tour scheduler settings.
A. First, you must get the GTM codes from the property website. Below are the steps for the same.
a. Go to the website where the GTM containers are installed, right-click on the web page, and click inspect.
b. Look for the Google Tag Manager script. You will want to get both the Script and No Script. Copy both Script and No Script.
B. The next step is to add the GTM code to the Tour scheduler settings. Following are instructions for the same;
a. Go to Journey AI Suite> Select Sub-Org> Click Tours> Click Admin Settings: Tour Scheduler.
b. Go to the Tracking Pixel page.
c. Paste both script and non-script in the Visit Tracking Code section.
d. Click Save to save the changes.
