How do I use the By Source/Medium reports under the Google Analytics 4 reports?

The by Source/Medium reports under the Google Analytics 4 reports summarize the GA4 stream reports from Google Analytics with respect to various marketing mediums and sources.

A. Navigate to: Performance AI ➡️ Google Analytics ➡️ Google Analytics 4 ➡️ By

     Source/Medium

 

B. This will open the BySource/Medium reports:

     The first table is an Overview of the Total New Users who visited your website and number

     of them who completed a CrSTAL milestone in the time period:

a. The Total New Users who visited the site were 220161.

b. The Number of Contacts Created was 10829.

c. The Number of Tour Scheduled was 4023.

d. The Number of 1st Tours completed was 2450.

e. The Number of Applications submitted was 1033.

f. The Number of Leases completed was 1160.

   The next table divides the Number of Users by Source and Medium:

g. You can click on Save Current View to save the current form of the table.

h. You can use the image-png-Dec-05-2023-09-17-09-8957-AM button to filter the contents of the table. 

i. You can use the image-png-Dec-05-2023-09-17-54-3518-AM button to search for specific values in each column. 

j. You can use the button to download the table as a CSV file. 

k. You can use the View dropdown menu to select how many rows will be shown in each

    page. 

l. You can use the Page numbers menu to select which page you want to view.

    The table depicts the following values:

For each column title, the contents can be filtered in ascending or descending order by

using the arrows ( for ascending & for descending) that appear when you scroll the title.

m. The 1st Column depicts the names of the sources and mediums

n. The 2nd column depicts the number of users bought in by the said source and

     medium. 

o. The 3rd column depicts the number of sessions associated with the source and

    medium. 

p. The 4th column depicts the number of users from the source or medium who became

    contacts.

q. The 5th column depicts the number of users from the source or medium who

    scheduled tours

r. The 6th column depicts the number of users from the source or medium who

    completed their 1st tour

s. The 7th column depicts the number of users from the source or medium who

    submitted their 1st application

t. The 8th column depicts the number of users from the source or medium who

    completed leasing

u. In this case, for the Google source and CPC medium:

• Bought in 35669 users.

• Caused 0 sessions. 

• 296 contacts were created by the users it brought in.

• 108 tours were scheduled by the users it brought in. 

• 16 1st tours were completed by the users it bought in.

• 9 applications were submitted by the users it bought in. 

• 3 leases were signed by the users it bought in. 

v. The last row shows the Total amounts from each of the columns, in this case:

• 220161 new users

• 458714 sessions

• 10829 contacts created

•  4023 tours scheduled

•  2450 1st tours completed

• 1033 applications submitted

• 1160 leases completed
