The Tracking Phone Numbers page allows you to add different tracking phone numbers for each source and according to the property.
A. Navigate to: Performance AI ➡️ Settings ➡️ Attribution Settings ➡️ Tracking Phone
B. This will open the Tracking Phone Number page where you can:
a. Search for the property for which you want to add the tracking phone number.
b. Select a property from the list and click on it.
Tracking phone numbers are designed to monitor where calls are coming from, whenever a call comes from a specific source the phone number is noted.
C. On clicking on the property page, you're taken to a page with the list of sources and tracking
phone numbers:
a. Choose whether you want to incorporate DNI (Dynamic Number Insertion) with your
tracking phone numbers.
b. The first column lists the sources, and you can search for a particular source using the
search bar below.
c. The second column lists the tags for the sources, and you can search for a particular
source using the search bar.
d. The third column lists the associated tracking phone numbers, and you can search
for a particular number using the search bar.
e. The fourth column lists whether the DNI options are turned on or not.
f. Let's look at the source Apartment Finder Blue Book.
g. The tags associated with this source
are apartmentfinderbluebook and 5000000033. There is no tracking phone
number or DNI option associated with it.
h. You can edit the tracking number for the source using the Edit button.
CRMs and other marketing systems can be used to generate external tracking phone numbers to track the people who call the numbers on your website.
D. Once you click the Edit button, you can:
a. See the source name you're editing.
b. Select whether you want a custom phone number to track and record calls or if you
already have a phone number. If you want a new number, it will cost you $20/month.
c. The tracking phone number displayed on your website will be listed here. If you have
a number already, you can add it here too.
d. The forwarding phone number where the call is forwarded to when someone calls
the tracking phone number.
e. You can choose to add Dynamic Number Insertion to your tracking phone numbers
or not.
f. You can cancel the addition or editing of the tracking phone number by using the
CANCEL button.
g. You can save the tracking phone number by using the SAVE button.
