How do I edit and clone org templates in hyMail?

Context
In this article, you'll learn how to edit and clone an Org Template in hyMail. You can clone this template to any of the properties, and the template will pull the property details from the macros.
 
Step 1 - Edit An Org Template in hyMail

Step 1a - Navigate to the hyMail App of the Org

Log into your my.hy.ly account and navigate to the hyMail app of the Org.
 
 

Step 1b - Navigate to Org Templates 

Click on the My Emails dropdown and select Org Templates.
 
 

Step 1c - Click on Design

Once you are on the Org templates page, hover over the template you wish to clone and click on Design.
 
 

Step 1d - Edit The Macros

Click on the Pencil Icon to edit the section.
 
Edit the following details as Macros in the template:
  1. Property Logo
  2. First Name
  3. Property Name in the Email Body
  4. CTA Button Color
  5. Floor Plan Link
  6. Amenities Link
  7. Gallery Link
  8. Neighborhood Link
  9. Contact Us link
  10. Property Link
  11. Fair Housing Icon
  12. Equal Housing Icon
  13. Property Address 
  14. Property Phone Number
  15. Property Email Id
 
 
 
The changes will be reflected on the Raw Macros preview. 
 
 
Once you are done making the changes, click on Save Changes.
 
 
Step 2 - Clone Org Template to The Property

Step 2a - Navigate to hyMail of The Property

Navigate to the hyMail App of the Property
 
 

 Step 2b - Select Org Template To Clone

On the My Emails page, click the + sign and select Org templates
 
 
 

Step 2c - Clone Template

Hover Over the Template you edited and click on Clone.
 
 
 
 
You can change the template name and click Save Clone to Edit Email.
 
 
 
The template will be added, and you can go ahead and start editing the email.
 
 
 
Note - If any of the branding or necessary details are missing, an error message will appear, and you won't be able to clone the org template. Therefore ensure to have all the necessary details updated in the sub-org of the property.
