Hyly.AI has introduced updates to its blast template categories and publishing process to enhance usability and better serve multifamily industry needs.
A. Change in Default hyBlast Template Categories
We’ve updated the default categories to make them more intuitive and relevant to multifamily marketing.

- The Announcement category has been changed to Community Updates.
- The Offers category has been changed to Promotions.
- The Events category remains unchanged.
These new categories are more straightforward, user-friendly, and tailored to meet multifamily marketing requirements.
You can see the changes in the following places in the hyMail app;
1. In hyMail, under My Email, hyBlast page:
a. In hyMail, under My Email, go to the hyBlast page.
b. The naming convention has changed from Announcements to Community Updates and Offers to Promotions.
2. In hyMail, under Settings-hyBlast, Templates page:
a. In hyMail, click Settings - hyBlast, which will take you to the Templates page.
b. The naming convention has changed from Announcements to Community Updates and Offers to Promotions.
3. Clone Hy.ly Template
a. To clone a Hy.ly template, click the plus
button and select Clone Hy.ly Template.
b. The naming convention has changed from Announcements to Community Updates and Offers to Promotions.
B. Publish Templates Across Multiple Categories – Simplified
We’ve also enhanced the process of publishing templates. Previously, users were restricted to publishing a template to one category at a time, which made the process repetitive and time-consuming.
Now, users can select multiple categories at once when publishing a single template. This update streamlines the workflow, saving time and effort.
Here are the step-by-step instructions for the process of publishing templates to multiple blast categories:
a. Go to the hyMail app for your property, go to Settings - hyBlast, and edit an unpublished template from the Templates page.
b. Under the Publish Section, you can select multiple categories to publish your template and click the PUBLISH TO HYBLAST button.
Your template is available now for all the categories you have selected.
